Who needs that pesky Constitution?

Article 1, Section 7 of the Constitution is crystal clear about how how proposed legislation is to be passed by both houses of Congress.  It clearly states, “in all such cases the votes of both houses shall be determined by yeas and nays, and the names of the persons voting for and against the bill shall be entered on the journal of each house respectively.”

Yet, now we are being subjected to the spectacle of Pelosi & Co. trying to weasle their way into “passing” Obamacare through “deeming” it voted on without the pesky business of actually…you know… voting.

Once again, the promise of “the most ethical Congress in history” is shown to be a cruel joke.

Newt Gingrich put it best: “Last year, the House was passing bills without reading them. This year, they’re passing bills without voting on them.”
