Maybe there is still hope…

I was amazed to run across this article (Holland’s Post-Secular Future) about how traditional Christianity is making a comeback in Holland of all places. In many ways, Holland in general (and Amsterdam in particular) had seemed in recent years to have gone so far round the bend into radical secularism as to cause despair that these trends could ever be reversed.

Here’s just a small quote from one of the pastors cited: “…The reason is simple: While the message stays the same, the methods change to suit the times. If people want it, we’ll have flags, loud music, people jumping up and down in the pews, even hip-hop. But Jesus remains the same as he was 2,000 years ago. The Word never changes.”

I guess that, once again, God shows that He is not limited by our lack of vision!
